National Resource Center for In-Home Services
The National Resource Center for In-Home Services (NRC In-Home) was a project of the NRC-FCP in partnership with the National Indian Child Welfare Association and ICF International which provided child welfare expertise on services designed to ensure the safety and well-being of children and youth in their homes, prevent their initial placement or re-entry into foster care, and preserve, support and stabilize their families.
The NRC In-Home offered free, on-site technical assistance and training to States and Tribes to help them build the capacity to provide effective family support, preservation and post-reunification services, through implementation of child welfare best practices and by strengthening systems of care.
NRC In-Home also provided a variety of information resources to child welfare agencies and the public.
The following video highlights use of the family development matrix for in-home services.
